Fajã Grande sits on the west coast of Flores Island, between the cliffs and the Atlantic - waterfalls, volcanic pools and stone-walled fields wrapped in hydrangeas. Orchid House is within walking distance of the black-sand beach, and a short walk or drive from Poço do Bacalhau and the emerald pools of Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro.
